Job Details
1. Assistant ProfessorPay Scale: 15,600 – 39,100 + AGP of 6,000
Maximum Age : 40 years
No. of Posts : 11 ( 5 posts Permanent/ Regular (Direct Recruitment) and 6 posts on Deputation/transfer/Sabbatical/ contract)
Minimum Qualification & experience:
1. Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
3. 3. Holders of PhD degrees along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as have been/ may be laid down by the UGC through its regulations, and so adopted by the University shall be exempted from NET. NET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET is not conducted. Departments:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
1. Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalence in a grade of 55% where grading system is practiced and a Consistently good academic record with knowledge on computerization of Library.
2. Qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant subject conducted by UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
3. A minimum of Five years as an Assistant Librarian in a University / Education & Research Institute Library/ State or Central Govt. Library.
Pay Band III : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
Maximum Age: 45

1. Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with MBA. Proficiency in Word processing like MS Word, Spreadsheet like EXCEL, Power Point presentations.
Executive Assistants 6 Posts
Pay Band -2 : Rs. 9300 – 34,800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Maximum Age: 30 years.
Essential qualifications:
1. Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with MBA. Proficiency in Word processing like MS Word, Spreadsheet like EXCEL, Power Point presentations.
